Let’s DiaBeat This Community CampaignDiaBEATThisSmall

Diabetes is a growing epidemic with devastating physical, emotional, and financial toll on our community. With the generous support from UnitedHealthcare, the Let’s Diabeat This community campaign is designed to connect and educate the public about resources within the community to prevent diabetes and assist those who need support or are currently struggling in successfully managing their disease. During the two years, residents will be able to participate in the Stanford University’s Diabetes Self-Management program, the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program, Dining with Diabetes program, support groups, walking programs, etc., all FREE of CHARGE! If you are overweight, over the age of 50, have family members with diabetes or are physically inactive, then you may be at risk for diabetes, a devastating chronic condition. Your first step is to take the Diabetes Risk Test then take the necessary steps to fight off this disease. Let’s DiaBeat This together!
